Composite Fillings
Dental fillings are used to repair damage to the structure of a tooth resulting from tooth decay, wear or trauma. After cleaning out the problematic area, the dentist will fill the tooth cavity with a white, non-mercury composite resin that looks natural and makes the tooth strong and resistant to decay.
Composite fillings are virtually undetectable and make teeth stronger and more durable. Here is a before and after comparison of older metal fillings replaced by composite resin fillings.
